Coolmation Limited sell and support cooling and chilling equipment throughout the UK to manufacturers requiring temperature controlled processes. 

We were approached to develop 2 multi-user management systems.  The first was a customer database that included a sales and quotation management system for use at the company headquarters and by sales outposts.  The system holds details of all enquirers and customers and manages the quotation from the enquiry to the final order and delivery process.

The second system was installed in their 24 hour service and support centre in Leicester.  This system manages all the equipment maintenance jobs for the contract customers, as well as the service and support calls that may come from non contract customers.  Both systems have a wealth of reporting and analysis capabilities in order to effectively measure business and personnel performance.

Laceys Mediation Service conduct family mediation consultancies for private and Legal Aid Board funded clients who are splitting up. Changes to the auditing and reporting procedures required by the Legal Aid Board meant that the company required a much more sophisticated Case Management System.  

This was developed under the name 'ResolveIT' and is now commercially available for firms conducting similar work. The system contains a unique multi-user appointment diary and a very streamlined method of producing instant forms and correspondence for clients.  

The introduction of the system also led to the installation of a network server, company e-mail and broadband Internet systems, along with the necessary security and data back-up facilities.  Building Block now supports both hardware and software for Laceys.

A customised version of this system would be Ideal for any company using field sales  representatives to source their  orders. 


Ceuta Healthcare run 3 national field sales teams that sell pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and supermarket outlets on behalf of the major product producers.

We were consulted to develop an order processing system that managed orders from the field sales representatives, through to the headquarters in Bournemouth and onto the customers preferred wholesaler for subsequent delivery.

The systems consisted of an in-depth customer database that produced detailed analysis at product, producer, sales rep, sales area and company levels.  This was integrated to a system that was designed to transmit the orders to the wholesalers via EDI links.  Both systems were complimented by a customer support program which allowed questions from customers to be dealt with and closed in an ordered fashion that matched their quality requirements.  

The product range 'PharmaNet' is now commercially available for any companies who use field sales representatives, direct or wholesaler ordering processes, and those companies having to use EAN or PIP coding.

Ideal for any company who need  to take data from one system and perform in-depth analysis or marketing and mailing tasks. 


Silver Direct sell high quality silver gifts through mail order worldwide. They use the Sage Accounting range of software to manage their order processes but required a program that would allow the data within that system to be used in a customer database for targeted marketing and for quotation production of bespoke silverware designs required by other re-sellers.

Our system linked with Sage, took the data into a bespoke customer database and used in-depth analysis of that data to produce targeted mailing through the Microsoft Office mail merge facility.  A quotation management module was added that allowed Silver Direct to manage quotations sent to other companies or individual consumers.
